The Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, is a primarily undergraduate Catholic college founded and sponsored by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood that provides an educational experience in the liberal arts and allows for intellectual and spiritual growth. The school offers more than 50 student clubs and organizations, with interests that are academically, culturally, spiritually and professionally oriented. Student life at the college is active, with students performing original poetry, fiction and music at the college’s coffeehouse, volunteering in community outreach events, visiting museums or entering campus-wide contests. As a commitment to its faith heritage, the school offers many campus ministry opportunities. These include spirituality programs, social justice activities, retreats, liturgies and more. Academics include bachelor’s degrees in a number of fields, such as Art, Religion, Education, Nursing and more. The school offers study abroad opportunities, as well as an MBA program. Admissions are considered on a rolling basis. Applicants are required to submit official high school or GED transcripts, an online application and ACT/SAT scores. To be considered for financial aid, the school recommends applying early. Students who complete a FAFSA will be considered to receive financial aid. The State of Indiana and Saint Joseph’s offer grants and scholarships. Other options include federal Pell grants, Perkins loans, Stafford loans and more.
