About SonicPollen
SonicPollen started in 2012 as a booking platform to connect bands with venues and organizers. We gained a lot of attention from musicians, but not much from organizers. Recently we went Lean and we discovered that the main need of the organizer is to assure a high attendance. After many experiments in the last months we've been able to DOUBLE the attendance by developing: Crowdsourced booking process: fans vote which band plays. Attendance prediction: We analyze voters and other data to help the organizer book the right band. Benefits list: Fans can access to benefits if they register to the list through a Facebook account and share the event. Check-in: Attendees are checked-in through a mobile app when entering the show. This makes possible to generate analytics about how many people attracted each band, among other analytics. Benefit validation: A mobile app is used to validate the people that has benefits. Now we need to organize our product, explore and validate a business model.
