It has three times been recognized by the Hoosier State Press Association as a "Blue Ribbon Newspaper" (2006, 2016 and 2018).Most notably, the Tribune won a court case against censorship in the Tramelle Sturgis, case. It is the third largest daily broadsheet newspaper in the State of Indiana by circulation.
