Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) is one among the most reputed Educational Institutions in Coimbatore region. The college has carved a niche in the engineering education by delivering graduates who make a difference in the industry and the society. Since its inception in the year 1994, the institution has been continuously striving to make an indelible mark in the higher education scenario by creating technocrats sound in academics and Value system. SREC is one of the seventeen flagship institutions managed by SNR Sons Charitable Trust which include Polytechnic College, Schools, Dental College, Colleges of Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Arts & Science, and Advanced Training Institute. The institution is located in a serene environment suitable for uninterrupted learning, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Multistoried buildings with the state of the art educational aids are spread over the 42 acres of land. SREC contributes to the higher education scenario in India by offering 9 under graduate programmes and 9 post graduate programmes in Engineering and Technology in addition to MBA housing 5000 plus students, passionately mentored by 329 dedicated faculty members. Six undergraduate programmes are accredited and reaccredited. Also two post graduate programmes are accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.
