Team has grown from a one-bank holding company with $85 million in assets to a multibank holding company with $435 million in assets as of March 31, 1999. This growth was achieved primarily through seven acquisitions of community banks or branches of large banks that were sold to Team as a result of consolidations. Additional asset growth was achieved through internal growth, as well as the establishment of three new branches during the past five years.
