Temtec International was a company primarily active in the development and sale of business intelligence software for multinationals. Management had a plan in place to further grow the company through product development and international expansion. One of Synergia's shareholders conducted a thorough analysis of Temtec's technology during this transaction, which revealed that it could be considered very interesting. Synergia's expansion financing enabled it to build up a market position in the United States. The company was eventually sold in 2006 to Applix Inc., an American publicly traded company.
