The Funding Farm brings business, products and ideas together with investors from Rural America. The Funding Farm is owned by accredited investors from Rural America who want to turn concepts into reality, start new businesses and grow existing businesses. Through its member owners, The Funding Farm has access to funding and expertise that can help our clients to be successful. The Funding Farm fully embraces its Midwestern roots: we are looking primarily for Midwestern companies that want to work with Midwestern investors. When you work with The Funding Farm you will get access to us and to our network of accredited investors as potential partners and backers. You will feel like and be treated like you are at our kitchen table. But our kitchen table has seats for 1,000’s of accredited investors who want to look at your concept, product or company! The Funding Farm was created in response to a need to tap sources of wealth in Rural America that want to participate in helping re-build America and its economy without relying on Government support. Its unique structure will allow farmers, rural Americans and indeed all Midwesterners to participate in taking good ideas to commercial reality and building existing companies without sending their money to a money manager on the east or west coast that does not care about our local economy, communities or people. Investors will hold their money until they are ready to invest it…investment decisions will be made by the owner member, not the “fund manager”! The Funding Farm is looking primarily for Midwest American companies (or companies willing to move to the Midwest), particularly renewable energy, agricultural, manufacturing, green and technology-driven enterprises. The Funding Farm empowers its clients to build successful businesses by providing them with high quality early, middle and late-stage business development, funding, and implementation assistance from a single, local source. It is managed by a core group of professional managers and is owned by accredited investor owner-members who are all interested in making investments in the long term success of new and developing companies.
