The Hydrous is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization on a mission to create open access oceans so that all people may explore, understand, and engage with marine environments, which are severely threatened by climate change and human impacts. In addition to designing and creating immersive experiences and dynamic educational resources using scalable technologies, The Hydrous consults on projects and initiatives that seek to connect people with the ocean and bring human elements to science, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary community of ocean lovers and advocates to form global partnerships.
