According to the World Health Organization, burn-out is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. Fuelled by a huge market need for novel Behavior Change Tech solutions accelerated by COVID, our solution solves a growing problem that continues to affect the productivity and mental-wellbeing of knowledge workers today and into the future. According to research, a worker experiences an average of 56 interruptions a day, and wastes an average of 23 minutes to get back on track, resulting in a loss of $588 billion of unrealized productivity each year in the US alone. Our solution, TimeChi, is a device and app combo which combines multiple productivity tools into one simple package by blocking interruptions (extrinsic and intrinsic) and encouraging regular breaks.
