About Universidade do Oeste Paulista
The Universidade do Oeste Paulista is the 2nd Best Private University and is among the 7 Best, both public and private, in the State of São Paulo. In Brazil, it ranks 7th among private universities, based on assessments by the Ministry of Education (MEC). It has 46 years of history, approximately 20,000 students and has trained more than 90,000 professionals for the job market. In face-to-face and distance learning, it offers over 70 undergraduate courses, over 150 specializations, as well as masters and doctorates recommended by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes / MEC). Unoeste started in August 2018 the activities of the first medical course in the city of Jaú (SP) and in March 2019 began the first medical course in Guarujá (SP).
