University of Louisiana-Lafayette offers comprehensive academics and research opportunities at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. More than 75 undergraduate degree programs are offered at ULL through such colleges as the college of business administration, the college of education, the college of liberal arts, the college of nursing and the college of sciences. Master’s degrees are offered in such fields as Architecture, Counseling, Music and Computer Science. Doctoral programs include such fields as Applied Language and Speech Sciences, Biology, Cognitive Science and English, among others. ULL’s research centers allow students to undertake research in such fields as business and information technology, ecology, child development and primate studies. University of Louisiana-Lafayette’s more than 16,000 students may benefit from a variety of student life options both on and off campus. In addition to student organizations, active Greek life and intramural sports on campus, the city of Lafayette also has many cultural, arts and nightlife offerings. Financial aid is available to eligible students, as are fellowships for graduate students. Admission to University of Lafayette is considered selective at the undergraduate level with various graduate programs differing in selectivity.
