About Waubonsee Community College
Located in Sugar Grove, Illinois, Waubonsee Community College is expanding and improving with the aim to include state-of-the-art facilities to its students. Waubonsee currently offers a wide array of classes leading to associate’s degrees or certificates in the arts, sciences, business, technology, math and health-related fields among others. Waubonsee’s recently-built Science Building has 12 different labs specific to different disciplines. The equipment, too, features the most updated technology. The Academic and Professional Center is another newly-built facility constructed so that additional classes in business, social sciences and other disciplines might be taught. Other recently constructed facilities are The Student Center and an entirely new campus located in downtown Aurora. Waubonsee’s student services include support for disabled students, career services, academic advising and assistance for students from low-income or otherwise compromised backgrounds. Financial aid is awarded to eligible students through loans, grants, work-study and scholarships.
