Wellspring Interfaith Social Services has been a ray of hope for 50 years-serving the city's core on Broadway. Five downtown congregations and the YWCA were the driving forces to create this agency which was originally founded under the name the West Central Neighborhood Committee. In 2018, Wellspring provided direct services to 7,280 individuals and families who participated in programming on an ongoing basis which was a 2.6% increase from the previous year.
