Located in the small, unincorporated community of Institute, West Virginia State offers a unique flavor. A lively state university with a range of offerings, West Virginia State is situated in an old-town, historic atmosphere. Students can pursue undergraduate degrees at WV State in a variety of fields, including Art, Biology, Criminal Justice, Music, Math, Political Science, Social Work and ROTC. West Virginia State also offers the unique Regents Bachelor of Arts program. The RBA is a non-traditional program that allows working adults to pursue their degree at times which are convenient to them.
