Wizzgo was the first "on line internet recorder" launched in France in may 2008. Backed by french innovation investors, wizzgo's team of ingineers have developed a proprietary technology of network PVR. Wizzgo technology was capable of delivering million copies of broadcasted program directly to the end-users internet-connected devices including smartphone, tvbox, computers. After five month of exploitation Wizzgo reached near half million users on the French territory. Despite its great success and its awards for its disruptive breakthrough service, Wizzgo had to stop because of lawsuits introduced by majors French broadcasters TF1 and M6.
